Apex cloth with Maya?

Is this vid a good starting point to generate cloth in Maya to be exported into U4?

Any tips/suggestions will greatly be appreciated!

its fine, the workflow hasn’t changed much in Maya. But I’d say watch the max tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRaStTw0-l0 since its really just working with the APEX plug-in not so much Maya or max. The one got-cha in maya is you have to set the Visible Range max of paintable Attributes so you can paint higher than 1 values.
