Anyway different way to render clouds?, other than volumetrics?

Hi people!, i’m doing a game with some friends and we started to need some clouds in the scene, just to play with lightning effects. By looking on forums/youtube/unreal manual everything takes me to volumetric clouds, and they’re awesome, but we are making a game not focusing on realistic graphics, cause we want it to run at 60fps on every platform and these volumetric clouds are really GPU expensive. I was thinking on make some low poly clouds with their animations on blender, then just put them on unreal, maybe that way will be more GPU friendly, but maybe unreal has other tool to make it easier and thats why im here, any help will be gratefull!! (sry for my english, i’m still in learning process).
