Anyone ever found a way to subclass "ParticleEventSendToGame" to create particle->BP interactions?

Any classes derived from that throw numerous compiler/linker errors, and I’m spending a bit of time (and gameplay efficiency) doing traces and creating other actors as workarounds for what I could easily do with this, and I can’t seem to locate any information on anyone doing it success.
