Hey Datasmith team -
I’ve noticed that when I export from Max 2021 using Datasmith, all of my materials that use either of the two PBR types present in Max get lost. This is super-inconvenient as it means I have to go through and create (and assign individually) new materials in Unreal for everything in my scene.
For stuff like Megascans and Mixer, this is an issue too, as I’m not sure how to replicate Quixel’s “export to Unreal” material using Max’s Physical Material, since Arnold materials aren’t supported either.
Any plans to add support for those two PBR materials?
