Animation Sliding After Retargeting

So I’ve properly retargeted all of the animations I am using in my project onto a new model, but for some reason, this one animation has forward movement unlike the source animation. Anyone know what might be the issue? It causes the character to move around in undesirable ways during the gameplay.

Essentially I’m wanting to know how to make the animation on the target to stay locked in placed like the mannequin version of the animation. Is there an option somewhere?

Here is some of the odd behavior it is causing:

1.) Attack extends through geo
2.) There is an abrupt snap back at the end of the attack

Any help in resolving these would be greatly appreciated!
