animation process and skeleton inside ue4

So , for me as level designer , i dont want to make characters animation and rigging , but i want to make the game go well and play with it . how i do this? i mean , i can import a mesh and the respective skeleton mesh of it , with the animations linked to it , and then use the ue4 to make all the fun?

Search the Unreal Marketplace. There are some characters in there, I’m unaware of their status, but there are prototype characters.

Also check out the sample project files, Third person template comes out of the box with a character that can run and jump.
