Animation Node missing from FPS Blueprint Event Graph

Hi All,

I am currently following the Interactive Material Swap Tutorial from the unreal online training resources,

I have been progressing well but when it comes to animation my UI as outlined HERE I run into some trouble.

My problem is this:

  • I have created my animation in the UI widget Designer Panel, animation called “OpenClose”(See Image1.1 below)
  • When I open the FPS Character Blueprint and start trying to setup the event graph to play the animation I am unable to located the animation node for the animation I created called “OpenClose” (see image 1.2 below)
  • It appears the UI animation node is not available in the FPS Character blueprint event graph, I realise I am probably missing something obvious!

Does anyone have any ideas on what I may be missing?
