Animation freeze on second character possess

I kind think i found a bug when trying to make the level blueprint to possess another pawn. I basicaly copied as ctrc+c + ctrl+v the first character to make an exact copy to the other character then i assigned the animations (BP+animation+statemachines) to the second character. The fisrt character when played is ok but when possess happens the animation of the second character is always idle no matter the speed. The workaround to this was to righ click the first character blueprint and select “create a character blueprint based on this” method and this worked just fine… i could not figure out why ctr+v metrod do not work. If its a bug someone can figure out… and maybe help others.

Can you explain your CharacterBP and AnimBP setup? It sounds like you’re referencing Player 0 somewhere instead of either Self (CharacterBP) or Pawn Owner (AnimBP).
