Amazon Fire TV controller and Android UE4 ?

I was planning on buying Amazon Fire TV controller to use it for development for Android, PC and Gear VR, but people who purchased the most recent version say it has WiFi interface and not Bluetooth.

Do you happen to know if it works with UE4 on Android (and thus Gear VR) ?

If not, what chances are that Epic will provide support for it any time soon?

UE4 supports the Amazon Fire TV controller, but I’m not sure if you can pair it on a non-Amazon device. If it shows up as an Android input device then it should work, but I haven’t personally tried it.
