Advanced vehicle spazzing about when pausing

Today after I implement pausing into a test project I am working on I found that when unpausing the advanced vehicle template would spin off into the distance: this is basically what happens - Album on Imgur

I have tried recording the velocity before it pauses and then setting it back when it unpauses but that did not work.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Solved it by using the pause function instead of changing time dilation
