When you want to blend meshes and landscape textures together sometimes there are texture intersections and you can’t blend the terrain properly because only one texture can be used.
This node would be able to find and output the texture itself. In it’s parameters you could set it’s position in the world and the direction it’s pointing at which is where it would sample the texture. This would enable us to blend the meshes and landscape properly. It would be the final step towards something that Cryengine 5 does and it’s really cool.
