Actor Origin is Offset

Hi all,

Here’s an image which should explain everything:


As you can see, the actor’s movement widget is offset from it’s center of mass/ origin.

How can I move the origin/ movement widget to the actor’s center of mass?


There are two ways we would do here.

  1. Fix the pivot point in 3D DCC software, such as Maya, 3DSMax, Blender, etc.
  2. Create a blueprint from Actor and add static mesh component which move the mesh to actor origin by setting relative location.

I am not sure if you can change the pivot of mesh in UE4. If someone knows how to do it, please let us know. Thanks a lot.
