Hello everyone, i am mostly a lurker in the forums, i hate the idea of disturbing someones work to answer my (commonly) silly questions, so… first of all, thank you to take your time.
Im trying to do some IK hands animation. I looked for resources on “UEAnswers”, the forums , and youtube but some details escape from my eye…
The first strange thing to me is the “Joint Target Location” of the “Two Bone IK” component of the animation blueprint.
What i understand is when you use the “Effector Location Space” on “Bone Space” you have to define the “Join Target Location” , which is totally logical.
But in every project example i saw the “Join Target” is a default value with some kind of random value ( I know is not random , but i dont know where it comes from).
So , the question is, “How you define that value?”.
Working with the IK hands i got something… “Working”.
But i have a problem with the right hand…
I define my hand rotation with the normal of the wall (i know this is only working with XZ walls im working on it) like this.
But , “How that affect the elbow , and how can i fix that?”.
