I have a Montage playing 8 different dodge animations based on which section of the montage is keyed by the player based off the direction the player is pushing to dodge. My animations are custom created in Cascadeur and I imported them into UE without root motion. I keyed the Root Motion in Engine by making a curve on each individual animation’s X & Y axes. However, the diagonal dodges now move further than the horizontal/vertical only ones. BLUF: what might be an easy way to apply equal distances for the root motion to all animations in this case?
