The horrible epic trash will only work if your create it like the tutorials show exactly - on top of a landacape and all of that.
And the landscape has to be an exact sqaure too - if its not the rendering will be off or just not work.
Build your own system levaraging the least horrible bits of the existing code (though i really dont think there is anything not horrible about it, guess it depends on skillset. If you can, do better. If you can’t, the adage “beggar’s can’t be choosers” comes to mind).
