4.4 montage with root motion pause in first frame

Hi.
After upgrade 4.3 to 4.4 the montages with root motion translation enabled wont play any more and they will pause in first frame when i play them.
When i remove the root motion it plays.

Whats the problem?

Thank you for the report, but I have not been able to reproduce this issue yet.

Here are the steps I followed:

  • Created a new project in 4.3.1
  • Imported a SkeletalMesh with Animation that has translation
  • Created an AnimMontage from the Animation Sequence
  • Opened the AnimMontage and enabled Root Motion Translation and Rotation
  • Saved all files.
  • Closed the editor and opened 4.4.1
  • Opened the previous project and converted a copy for 4.4.1
  • Opened the AnimMontage

The animation was still playing properly.

Can you please tell me if there are any additional steps necessary to cause this issue to occur?

I have found the problem.
It was causes from Character Movement Mode.
After upgrading to 4.4 in every Set Movement Mode call in may blueprints the mode argument was changed to None.
When i fixed them every montages plays fine.
