(4.24) Lightmaps not carrying over with 'Save Current As'

I’m having an issue in 4.24. I have a level with baked lighting - but when I ‘Save Current As’ - to create a new version of the existing level, the lightmaps break requiring me to rebake everything.

I feel this issue cropped up several versions ago, but seems to have come back in 4.24. Anyone know of a solution?

I’m bumping up this one.

Same problem here. Lighting gets broken with ‘Save Current As’. Any ideas anybody?
