3rd person camera stops at -1000 on Z axis

I’m just learning on UE4, playing about with creating my own level from the 3rd person blueprints. I’ve noticed that when I place my character at anywhere lower then -1000 on the Z axis, the game stops. I can’t find anywhere in the blueprints or details to set this.

Can this value be modified, and if so, where is the setting?

Check the World Settings Property Kill Z, found typically in the bottom right hand corner of the editor. It is usually used to stop perpetual falling and can be safely modified to suit your needs.

got it thanks

Thank you! Was driving me nuts.
