3ds Max FBX export problem

Hi there,

I used official UE4 guide for Skelmesh/anim export and I have a problem with Biped/Bones export. Every single time I try to export from 3ds Max I get Errors concerning Biped bones. Max suggests baking animation which works fortunately but I wonder where the problem might be. I even tried using Bones and skin/animate completely different mesh and again the same error came up during the export. Any help would be much appreciated. i take it the errors are reported on the fbx export screen, if yes then afaik its due to the scale-ing factor , i don’t know how to fix that for the biped but if you use bones/objects then do a xref on the object before you apply the skin modifer
