3D Menu Selection

I’m making a 3d menu selection. I’m sure this is right because the integers are held in place correctly however it does not do anything when I press the right key. Anyone got any ideas as to why? Surely you can call key events on a actor blueprint that’s placed inside the map when they show up in the blueprint? It is definantly not updating the integer with a keypress as I can manually change the integer and the visibility works…
I was thinking it could be the world settings for this main menu map I created. I have to set the default pawn class to character as to not spawn the main character on the start menu.

All of this in the picture is made inside a actor blueprint as well. So I could line it up easily with the matinee camera I’m using for the rendered menu background.
