Basic Tips to learn on your own (intuitively) to translate.
First you must download the DevKit ARK in Epic Games Launcher (approximately 43GB): Unreal Engine herunterladen
You need to create an account to download it.
1- Filter files **
by “Blueprint” and User Interface->“Widget Blueprint”
**
2- Meet the folders that include files to translate
(These are those that have met so far)
Menus and whistles:
Game->PrimalEarth->UI
Statistics (health, stamina …), warnings (cold, heat …) and more …:
Game->PrimalEarth->CoreBlueprints->PrimalGameData_BP
Item names and descriptions:
Game->PrimalEarth->CoreBlueprints (priority on “Items” and "Structures)
There are probably more folders and / or files, enjoy with the search.
3- Edit files
In this requerias of intuition, because some files are different from others.
To access the file you were using a double mouse click.
Within this you must seek the editable text that you know appears in the game. If the text you have not seen in the game, I do not recommend editing, it might be something you should not touch.
They often have names like “Description” or “Name” or “Display” to identify them.
Enter search that text and …
To translate! Have fun!
4- Cooking, upload and update the mod
Click “Steam Upload” to start cooking translation.
For translations shall “Cook Total Conversion”
Click “Browse …” to upload a picture to represent your Mod.
To avoid problems up an image of 184x184 pixels.
To receive more feedback, make your publication “Public”. In the title and description do not use symbols, accents or the like, stick to using letters and spaces or receive an error that will give you many headaches this nonsense. You can then edit and add accents and symbols on the page of WorkShop.
Examples of known characters that can cause problems in the title, description: “Ü”, “ñ”, “,”, “á”, “è”, “:”, “;”, “/”…
Then click Upload to upload your translation. When uploading, if everything is successful, your Steam session will be offline and must restart your Steam client.
Repeat “Cook Total Conversion” and “Upload” for each update. It is recommended to write the changenotes for each update.
Important tip:
Keep a backup of your files on the “Projects” folder to another folder always
5- Group performing translations (collaborators)
To request help or collaborate on a translation you must know where the project folders. PrimalEarth is on:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ARKDevKit\Projects\ShooterGame\Content\PrimalEarth
Divide the work so you do not overwrite each other’s work.
For example, a contributor is responsible for:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ARKDevKit\Projects\ShooterGame\Content\PrimalEarth\CoreBlueprints\Items\Structures
If it sends the parent folder “Items” and the main creator copy that folder that are not all “Structures” will be overwritten files may be lost. So seek to send content only translated into primary responsibility.
Only the first creator can update the mod in again “Upload”.
Collaborators must send the files, and the main creator must copy and return to “Cook Total Conversion” and Re-“Upload” with changenotes.

REPEAT: I say again!
