I don’t know why but default animations have their root rotated to 90° so it may cause blend issues (feet under the ground) with others animations. So I fixed it.
I’m still wondering why they never ‘re-targeted’ the original animations to work with the Starter Pack. Not having basic, unarmed Idle/Walk/Run or a plain jump cycle is a bit of a pain. Not a deal breaker, just a pain.
Well, you’ve got further than I have attempting to re-target other animations from the old mannequin. Any chance you could share your process? I’m getting, let’s say, ‘poor results’ from adjusting the re-target pose.
