BSP collisions and static mesh geometry

I’m wondering how most people do the conversion from prototype BSP artwork to static mesh artwork. Is the general idea to keep the BSPs as the collision volume and then build the meshes on top without colliders?

Also is there a way to copy and imported mesh to the exact location of a BSP element?

Just click ‘create static mesh’ in the details panel. Then export the mesh into your modelling program of choice. Once your done import it right back into the engine.

If you want to keep the same collision settings as a BSP cut, just turn the mesh into a blocking volume, otherwise just use the custom collision settings.
