    Screenshot Saturday!

    What up everyone? If any of you awesome folks are active in the twittersphere, you're likely familiar with #screenshotsaturday, a rolling list of game development screenshots taken on Saturday from works in progress by a multitude of developers. I'm continually impressed and inspired with the work you all are showing off in here, let's share what we are doing with the world!

    Nice. I've seen this # pass by, but never got to participate yet. I will definitely have a go next weekend.

    How about a continous thread like Polycount's what are you working on thread. Not everything serves its own thread, but would still be nice to share progress (and not just on saturdays )

    Yeah...something like a "what are you working on" thread would be very cool indeed! I dont use twitter and have no plans to make an account just to share screenshots^^

    When are you going to show us more gameplay videos? You've been teasing us since Beta.

    That grass looks beautiful, btw. That attracted my attention more than the character..lol

    When the time has come, we will post a gameplay video. Actually our main "problem" is that we always want to improve everything.....let's see when we will reach a state where we are satisfied with the quality (especially of the foliage)

    Many, many things changed since the beta and more changes will follow

    Thanks DrDigg0R. I used World Machine to create the landscape and imported to UE4.

    Working to define a color palette and look/feel. Means abusing the post process & blendables till I dial it all back to a playable threshold later on.

    Hi Ray! This is in fact the Ghostbusters library scene. We got a little inspired after seeing the 30th anniversary re-release in theatres a few weeks ago!

    Here's another shot. We're still working on it. (Aiming for release next week)

    Finalizing the matinee this weekend and getting final lighting and assets in this week.

    Getting the particle effect for the cards in will be exciting too!

    It's an experiment I did a while ago based on SW:TOR's character & environment lighting to figure out how they did it I expect to have this available soon on github & zip download (with some explanation on how it works over on my site)

    Bit of cheating to use a GIF for screenshot saturday, this is the result of some material fiddling I did with a transition effect moving from a single world space position.
