I was wondering if I could use my xbox one Kinect for motion capture? I know it is possible with the xbox 360 Kinect. If it is possible to use the xbox one Kinect what software is needed to make this happen?

I know Microsoft has released their version of Kinect 2.0 that works directly with PC. Another factor would be dependent upon software that can use it’s data to make motion capture files. Microsoft does provide the SDK for you to take advantage of software development for the Kinect 2.
You may want to search for “Brekel Kinect 2” for software though. The software for Kinect 1 worked decently well. There may be something being developed here as well.
