Material is showing lower res LOD at too close of a distance

The material on my AI pawns seem to be popping to a lower res at quite close distances. I’d like to control the distance at which the material switches to a lower res version.

Does anyone know how I can do this? Thanks in advance.

mesh components have a Streaming Distance Multiplier which is meant for this. try playing around with it
