Epic Launcher Back Ground Fortine Update????

When ever we open Unreal Engine so does the Epic Games Launcher in the background and I keep forgetting about
this.

So I noticed that there was some slowdowns on my network and I was confused to what exactly was going on and it
turns out the Launcher was running in the background and it was using some network so I was like oh so the UE4 got
another patch real soon?

I opened it only to see that FORTNITE was being updated.

First things first I don’t even own Fortnite so why does a game I don’t own need to be update?

Try “Hide Games” option in the launcher. It’ll stop and block any updates from the games and hides their respective tabs, leaving you with the lovely Unreal Engine tab.
