Gradual Transition between LODs

Hello !
I’ve noticed in many UE clips that LODs are just “jump appear” when certain distance line is crossed
but what if as a new feature we will have transition between Low med and high meshes ?

I think it’s not a bad idea , not only for certain objects but for all of them
for example if opacity of an object will change according to camera distance

They already have a feature for that added in 4.11:
