Can you record a video to show the problem. I’m not sure if I understood you correctly. If you did everything like in my tutorial it will work. Don’t forget to set first waypoint when you place the vehicle.

Sorry, I didn’t see that you replied to this thread, you can tag me in the future. When you place the a vehicle in a level click on it and find my AI Component in the details panel and there is an option to select what the first waypoint should be.
