Limbic Entertainment is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Technical Artist (m/f) for an unannounced Unreal 4 project.

As our Technical Artist (m/f) you will not only have a great passion for games and art, but also a good understanding of technical topics. You will work on the asset integration and developing/maintaining the according tool chain. You will provide technical support for our artists, our outsourcing manager and our external art production partners. Together with the engineering and level design team, the development of shaders and visual effects will be another of your main responsibilities.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing tools and workflows for asset integration and special effects
• Implementing performance improvements on asset side
• Creating shaders and visual effects
• Developing technical solutions that improve in-game visuals.
• Evaluating new technologies and tools

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience as Technical Artist and several released titles
• Expert knowledge in the use of Autodesk Maya / 3ds Max
• Full understanding of PBR materials and pipelines
• Capable of rigging and supporting character production pipelines
• Skilled in modeling for real time rendering (texturing is a plus)
• Great experience in shader and FX development
• Knowledge of Python / MaxScript
• Experience with the Unreal Engine 4
• You are a problem solver who stays cool even when dealing with temporary high workloads
• Having a background and interest in PC and online games
• High affinity to games, internet and multimedia
• Fluent in English

Limbic Entertainment is looking for an experienced **Producer/Senior Producer (m/f) **to oversee our game development efforts.

As our Producer/Senior Producer (m/f), you will not only have a great passion for games in general, but also a good understanding of the challenges, requirements, development processes and social interactions needed to create successful products. You will also be responsible for developing complex, dynamic PC and console games, while you will be in charge of keeping one of our development teams focused and on track. Furthermore, you will be the main contact for all production stakeholders, including the customer and senior management.

Working closely with the other departmental leads and their teams will be mandatory in order to ensure the creation of successful products and great gaming experiences. Agile development processes are already established and need to be further developed and maintained. You will be responsible for leading your team, which involves both the factual and the disciplinary aspect of team leadership.

Your tasks will include:

• Leading game production on one of our development teams
• Creating time, budget and resource plans, and taking responsibility for budgets and the team
• Generating and maintaining project plans, and greenlighting milestones
• Driving communication on the team and also with our external partners
• Organizing the product backlog, distributing tasks and moderating team meetings
• Overseeing the visualization, analysis and optimization of processes and production steps
• Improving our production methodologies and processes
• Presenting game and project progress to the company and also external stakeholders
• Ensuring that certain KPIs are reached and controlling the progress of production
• Identifying, monitoring and confining project risks
• Presenting builds, milestones and project results to customers, distributors, media and management
• Observing, comparing and analysing the market and competitors

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in game development as Producer or Project Manager
• Experienced team leader and several released products
• Highly responsible, dedicated and detail-oriented
• Cooperative management style
• Skills in agile development processes (e.g., Scrum)
• You think analytically and your working style is results-oriented
• You are a problem-solver who stays cool, even when dealing with a high workload
• High affinity with games, internet and multimedia
• Experience in working with Jira, Confluence, Google Docs and Office
• Fluent in English
