Has anyone figured out how to add someone to a tribe via BP yet?
i have been trying for about 3 hours now
34 views and i think all 34 of us are confused.
what is it you are trying to achieve?
i assume you are working on something other then “press E to invite” ?
Are you trying to use a tribe item to invite/join? a “join this tribe” button?
I believe that both the player and tribe files hold this information. The player has tribe ID, and the tribe file has a member list. It may/may not be as easy as you think. There may already be functions for remove/add to tribe, such as when using cheats.
You could probably just use this I would imagine -
Someone suggested that it was possible to force tame a dino using a “Set Targeting Team” node. The same method may apply for adding tribe members by setting their Targeting_Team.
