Hello. I was wondering if there is anyway to convert a game that was made in unreal (in application file format) into an unreal project that I could edit. I have bought Hello Neighbor alpha 3 (which I believe was made in unreal) and I want to edit the game to see what secrets I can that way. If there is a way to do this please reply (unlease it is illegal, if it is tell me).
No, that is not possible, the files are cooked and can’t be converted back to a format that can be opened. It is also illegal to do without permission from the developer.
