ARTv1 Mesh generation issue

Hello,
I’m fiddeling around with the art and animation tools and I’m having an issue with the mesh generation.
Can someone tell me what’s up and how to fix my buddie’s left side?

At first I thought this would be simply fixed by flipping the normals but that didn’t do anything.

After some fiddeling… I think it really is a flipped normals issue… but how do I reverse them? I tried selecting the mesh via the outliner but since it is not really a mesh per se… I don’t know what it is… I can’t select it’s vertices just it’s cage… how would I fix that?
