Foliage and HISMCs performance / usability improvement for mobile VR (for UE 4.14.x)

Can we please have foliage and HISMCs that perform really well in mobile VR (latter is more critical) ?

Unity does static and dynamic batching which helps delivering more complex scenes for Gear VR. UE4 has to match or beat that functionality !!!
