Read the book “Art of war”

Truth. Iching and Geometrical Method of Euclid and Spinoza are my inspirations.

A example of Art of war:

Chapter V
Strategy Head to Head and Indirect

Sun Tzu said:
“Commanding many is the same that command few. It’s all a matter of organization. It’s just a matter of formation and signaling.”

Analogy: No there more than five key notes, but, combined, produce more sounds than you can hear; no more than five primary colors, but combined, they produce more shadows and shades than you can see.

Explanation: Similarly, to gain strategic advantage in battle, no there more than the “direct” and “indirect” operations, but their combinations are limitless giving rise to an endless series of maneuvers.

Story: The first Han emperor (256-195 BC), wishing to crush your opponent Hsiung-nu, sent spies to know their condition. But he, knowing the fact, carefully hidden all strong soldiers and all well-fed horses, leaving only sick men and skinny cattle in sight. The result was that the spies unanimously recommended the emperor to attack.

Action: This strategy is widely used in the narrative and level design to deceive the player. You make him think one thing, and the ultimate truth is always another.
Humor and drama are produced thereby: in contrary the expectations. Similarly, when something is very predictable, and not there surprise, the players does not like.
