[GEAR VR] ARCore + GearVR = Inside-Out Tracking?

    Hello friends,

I am playing around with ARCore / Handheld VR Template, which works out of the box. (Blueprint)
Now I tried to build the Handheld VR Template for GearVR -> just to see what happens. Result is, that no AR System is detected when starting in with GearVR. (Blueprint)

I saw a super nice Unity Tutorial where they use ARCore + GearVR to have some basic Inside-Out positional tracking.
Possible in UE without breaking my head?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EWPUdE_kqU

Seems like there is happening alot behind the scenes when running either ARCore or GearVR with Unreal.
Wouldn't even know where to start digging.

Anyone can point me into the right direction?

    Best
    J

Same Problem here, does it work in VR, or not actually supported ?

Mhm... Was hoping to get more feedback. In general the interest and feedback regarding ARCore and GearVR seems pretty low in the unreal community?

Yes I also would like to know how to combine ArCore and GearVR together. It's maybe overkill for GearVR performance since it's pretty slow in general, I don't think it is a question to Unreal Engine because Oculus has it's own Unreal-Engine branch with GearVR development. It's better to ask them about it here: https://forums.oculusvr.com/developer/categories/unreal

Any news for this issue? Is there any possibility to combine GearVR to ArCore?
