    Google Tango Point Cloud

    Hi,

I've been looking to get started with Tango on Unreal. I've managed to get what I think is basic positional tracking working using the current SDK, just by importing the plugin and configuring it. The tango plugin takes over the camera view, replacing it with the back camera.

However, I'm having trouble correctly placing objects within the world using the point cloud.
At the moment when I tap the screen objects are placed are at the correct plane level, but not relative to the camera. It seems like they are being placed relative to the initial starting point, thus, the objects get placed around the initial starting location.

Any objects I do place, stay in place when I move the camera around.

Anyone have any experience with this or any ideas?
