[VIVE] 4.15: Lensflares getting "stuck" on Vive display?

    Hi there,

    I have upgraded a project from 4.14 to 4.15.

Lensflares now get "stuck" on the Vive display.

If e.g. I look into the sun and then away, parts of the lens flare stay on the player's view.

Did anyone notice that too? Any suggestions how to solve this without disabling lensflares?

    Thanks

Is there any reason why you need lens flares? They are really unrealistic in VR, since that's just an effect that happens on camera lenses. I see no reason why those should ever be used in VR. Because of that its very likely that Epic never tested them in VR, so they probably wouldn't notice if they don't work.
Easy to use UMG Mini Map on the UE4 Marketplace.

I have disabled them, but the bug is still there

There are cases where usage of lens flares is reasonable, for example recording videos of a VR experience for youtube.

Are you using hardware-clear? Without hardware-clear I've had bloom from the edges get stuck when it accumulates outside of the stencil mask for the lenses and lens flare may do something similar.
