    Which is really strange since it builds fine in the Epic source branch.

    The developer of the plugin suggested I install the "Google Repositories" extra from the Android SDK (which already seems strange since it was not required for the Epic source) to ensure this folder exists:
    "\NVPACK\android-sdk-windows\extras\google\m2repository\com\google\android\gms\play-services-analytics\9.2.0"
    however even after doing that I got the same error.

    Anyone else managed to get it working?

    Try installing Google Play services in the sdk manager?
    It's weird that it's only for that branch...

      Yep also installed that - strange that I had not needed to install that before and indeed strange it's only occurring with that branch (both the 4.13 & 4.14 versions)

        Definitely your engine doesn't detect Google Play Services SDK... Check configuration, paths, clear Intermediate folder and rebuild engine...

          checked all that and just tried rebuilding the whole engine again and using the plugin in a blank c++ project - same problem

          I just don't understand why it would be working with the Epic source branch fine (which shows configuration and paths must be setup correctly right?) but this branch not I know this might be asking a lot but would mean a lot to know it's really not a problem with that branch itself if you could confirm a new blank project builds fine for you?

            Try running SDK Manager.exe in android-sdk-tools and updating Extras Android Support Repository and Google Repository. Maybe there is a missing dependency in the GoogleVR fork.

                If it's working on a different build, then it should work fine here. I know in Android Studio, you have to specify a gradle dependency like google play services to import it. Unreal uses the old style with ant, (and it's been forever since I did ant so I don't remember how it worked), but it may be a similar problem.
