Hi forum
I'm having some trouble correctly importing my sprite to my game project. The PNG image itself has a subtle pink glow effect around the edges which is visible in the texture when I import it into Unreal. However, when creating a Sprite asset and choosing that texture as the source, the glow disappears and leaves me with this ugly harsh bright pink outline around my sprite. I can't seem to find any settings that cause this.
Could you help me out?
Thanks,
Shrooblord
EDIT
Looks like I just had to look around more in the Editor after all. I imported my PNG file again, right clicked and with Sprite Actions > Apply Paper 2D Texture Settings was able to resolve the problem. I think it was the combination of Texture Group and Compression Settings not being set correctly.
