    Volume Material


    I've been trying to create this glass tube, filled up with a volume, containing an alien inside.
    The glass of the outside tube works fine but I can't seem to get the liquid inside the tube to work.
    I made a very simple green material for the liquid and I set the material domain to "volume".
    Now I'm getting this cube around my tubes which I can't explain. Is there any way to fix this and just make the liquid material apply to the actual cilinder instead of creating a cube around the tube?
    Or is there an easier way to make a liquid inside the tube?

    This can be achieved by using a sphere mask that is stretched out on Z axis (check screenshots bellow). Though keep in mind that volumetrics in combination with translucency you can get huge performance problems, if its a game that you are doing.
