    Microstation and UE4

    Does anyone have any experience using UE with Microstation or Auto desk products?

    the fbx files are fine to import and easy to use, but when it comes to applying material i am having issues.
    My materials seem to be stretched way larger, or the material applies to each LOD triangle individually in some instances.

    Any assistance will be appreciated

    I use MicroStation connect 13 to get into ue4 you first need to apply a texture to your model (can be anything) this will give you the UV channel when you import so you can control the texture scale. Export as an obj format as some versions of MicroStation do not give a UV channel when exporting via fbx

    difficulty is you need to export piece by piece but if you set up a function key script it's quicker.
