I'm new to Unreal. I've figured out the basics of setting up some convincing metal materials. For some reason, though, the reflections always clip (disappear) when I get close to the objects. Is there a way to adjust this near clipping plane for reflections? When I'm looking at Epic's content, I never see this happen. What's going on? Surely, this must be simple. Thanks.

Reflection Clipping

I'm sorry; I should have put in more info. I'm using sphere reflection captures. I actually tried a box capture and couldn't get results.
UPDATE: I do need to add that Epic's examples of reflections do clip at range, but it's far instead of near. There must be a setting for this somewhere.
UPDATE: I've found the Post Process Volume and its settings. After playing with the quality setting for SSR, I've found that the problem is more complicated than expected but reasonable. I'll be fine moving forward from here.Last edited by SullenSecret; 09-12-2019, 01:18 PM.
