Subsurface material not looking good in reflections

    Hi everyone,

This is my first post in the forum and I come with a question for anyone who can help me. I'm trying to achieve realistic reflections on subsurface materials, but I've found that the light effect achieved with the subsurface material does not appear in the reflections. Does Anyone know how to solve this problem?

If it were helpful, I'm running UE 4.23 and RayTrace activated in a GTX1070. But the problem is the same without activating RayTrace so I don't think that's the cause.

    Thanks in advance

Is it just being hit by light from behind or is this some kind of emissive object? This object doesn't look like its using sub surface.

This thread might shed some light onto your issue.

Hi Jaycob and thanks for your answer.

The object has several point lights inside, organized in vertical. And the material is using Subsurface material as shown in this image:

Fair enough, I've not had much hands on so we might need a pro in here to help out.
