    Customized UVs Mobile- are they an all or nothing win per material?

    When using customized UVs on mobile, noticing it is not easy to do if you have functions (triplanar, detail, etc) and whatnot with UV manipulations harder to be specific about which channel in function

    Are customized UVs a savings for the operations that use them, or is it negated on whole material if one operation doesn't use it? (i.e. whole material uses slow path?)

    Also wondering if anyone had strategies for customized UVs and using generic reusable functions (esp in landscapes)- a lot of static switches?
