Some sides of an asset are not being effected by static lights and turn black.

    Some sides of an asset are not being effected by static lights and turn black.

    Some walls don't get lit by static lighting and only get effected by static skylight and movable lights. Everything is static and they're are all a single mesh, UVs and lightmaps looks good and texture resolution is fine. Only the walls that are facing the same direction are effected. There are no light leaks either. I tried unwrapping by hand or reimporting but nothing seems to fix it. Any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

    Hi!

    Are you sure your normals are facing the right way?
    Are your walls made out of 3d meshes and not just one sided planes?
    What lightmap resolution do you have?

      For some reason putting an unwrap modifier on the meshes fixed it, the UVs looked good in unreal but something was going wrong. So it was not a normal issue. I am using datasmith for this project and some assets might not have translated properly.
