    Thx
I didn't install cuda sdk, I only have the latest driver installed (I have a gtx 1070 8gb).
    I don't know, maybe it doesn't work on gtx 9xx cards :/

Still not sure but I did download cuda for windows 10 , 5 gb or so install, so maybe this will make a difference , but cuda still isn't showing up, and ya my gpu has cuda.Does it show up under task manager only while doing light build,,you have windows 10 pro latest build ? Blender 2.82 seems to 'see' cuda, its checked after install but I doubt its helping given lag in edit mode on large meshes.

I have windows 10 pro x64 latest public build (1909, 18363.628), and displaying the cuda graph is available under task manager even when I'm not running gpu lightmass.

Anyone knows why im getting those black splotches in the corners where the wall and ceiling meets? Lightmap UVs are perfect and doubling the samples (NumPrimaryGISamples / NumSecondaryGISamples) also didnt change anything.

I still need help with this pls,,btw:

ODD, this proves https://www.geforce.com/hardware/tec...lue=All&page=1 ,my gtx 950 is supported for CUDA, yet having latest driver and installing latest CUDA, CUDA is not listed under GPU COPY or any other graph under task manager,,any ideas why ?

I meant that I can select "Cuda" in the drop down menu, like Metathesus mentioned

Ok ty,I also just asked on answers.microsoft.com,and poster says his GPU on laptop has CUDa support as my desktop does:

" I honestly have never seen or heard CUDA showing up on the Task Manager, It would be interesting to see if they could provide a screenshot of what they see in task Manager . . ."

If you would it might help, could you pls do a quick snapshot showing cuda as you say, might help him aid me in finding out what is going on.

                  Ty

SIGH , I'm perplexed what it could be, here is fellow poster's post:

" Honestly, I have never seen that, this is what I see (as per url), unless they are running a Insider Build of Windows 10 and that will be coming to the rest of us, in that build when it is released . .. " " I have never seen CUDA visible in the Performance tab of Task Manager, and I have 3 laptops that support CUDA on the Graphics card "

                      Any chance that's it?

I've recently updated a project from 4.21 to 4.22.3, I've updated the lightmass settings and everything seems to be working, the only issue is my bounce light is now completely broken and I'm not getting the same results I was in 4.21 any more.

                        Before

                        After

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

                          Hello,
                          Sorry for the late!
No I'm not an Insider I use Windows 10 - 1909, I'm not sure but I think it was in v1903 too.
I have a RTX 2080 but this graph exist with GTX1080.
Just select Cuda in the dropdown menu in the GPU part of the taskmanger and I can see activity when using Lightmass GPU.

I have a GTX960 with Windows 1909 and old nvidia drivers, I 've just check, NO CUDA graph! I've not investigated why? Old nvidia driver?

HM odd,how much activity though, 2%,35% ormore,as all I ever got at one time was around9%. My gtx950 isn't that old allt told, and it IS a card supported by nvidia for Cuda, that I'm sure of,but ya thx for getting back to me on not having insider build.

Does anyone what settings affects this "grid" for emissive lighting?

As you can see in the screenshots attached... the ceiling material has emissive texture which should result in almost a flat lighting....yet the outcome is this grid.

I've tried playing with these settings:

I am having an issue using GPU lightmass in 4.24.2, i have a basic scene with a plane and some primitives, a directional light and a skylight, all static. GPUlightmass does not appear to be working with the skylight at all, the shadows are full black and if I turn off the directional light, all I get is 100% black scene. If I swap back to CPU lightmass, it renders fine.
