Hi!
I'm trying to figure out how to have a good, nice, realistic material for hairs.
I should probably use polygonal hairs and I'm having problems with the shader.
Old hairs used anisotropic... I'm thinking about a Kajiya-Kay model (http://amd-dev.wpengine.netdna-cdn.c...rRendering.pdf) but the main problem is that I can't have a light vector in a shader with deferred renfering.
So this makes me think that replicate that model (or a more complex one) is almost impossible.
Maybe there is some trick to mimic that look in UE4, without anisotropic and forward rendering: do some guys of you have any idea about that?
