  • Remote packaging project for iOS from Windows takes forever

    Trying to package a project from Windows that includes ARKit, therefore using remote connection to my MacBook.
    As far as i can judge everything is set up correctly, output log says build succeded with 0 errors - but after

    "UATHelper: Packaging (iOS): [Remote] Downloading E:\Unreal PRJ\ARkit\ARkit_Handheld_01\Intermediate\Remote\ARkit_Handheld_01\IOS\Development\Manifest.xml"

    nothing is logged anymore and UE just stays on "Packaging project for iOS" without anything happening.

    I'm guessing it has something to do with ARKit and the remote connection but so far i haven't been able to find any solution online.
    Running UE4.22

    Any help would be appreciated - thanks in advance.

    sorry for the late response. had holiday and now i´m back.

    haven´t found a direct solution. so i installed unreal direct on the mac and made the ios build directly there.

    That works with my project, but now i got a new problem with final/shipping ios build and the upload to apple. Theres a Unreal-Bug with a missing icon !!
    If uploading to the apple developer account i always get an error-messages about that missing icon. i tried to fix that manually in xcode and it looks god and should be fixed,
    but the error stays... found many things about that problem in the web, but no really working solution for me....any ideas?
