Hi John, the database requires payment but the license allows for commercial use. There's Substance Share though, everything on that site is free and uses the creative commons license http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

Mixamo Fuse is free now. Apparently Adobe purchased them and made everything you do with Fuse free. That includes auto-rig, animations etc....etc.... Literally just found out now.

''For a limited time, get all these goodies for free with an Adobe ID. '' So is it free or not?!That's whar I've read from official Mixamo site.Is it like a trial or If I have Adobe ID I just can use it for free...???

Please, for the love of god, includeGameTextures.comYou can get rid of all the other links to other texture resource sites, roughly 1,000 PBR textures.
The team behind the textures are some of the most friendly, helpful and community driven I have come across in recent years, I have been with them for 2 months and have collected over 600 textures.
The subscription plan's are very forgiving to us indie developers, $30USD a month for 200 texture downloads and 2 free requests. Bonuses include a 10-day trial where you can download free 200 textures, then if you decide to subscribe you instantly get another 200 free, I have gotten every texture I need from their site but I loved their service so much I decided I would keep my subscription going for 1-2 more months

Hi Ethan, this site is very good but this thread is for free resources only and as this site requires a subscription it is not suitable for this list.

Maybe put a disclaimer about being able to snag 200 free textures with the trial?
Sorry, just love them to pieces

I'd rather just keep it to free stuff with no subscriptions, feel free to start a thread of good paid resources though.

                              Hey guys.

Just came across this website. Has a lot of really high-def textures (as well as being tileable) and they are completely free.

Wow, this is awesome! I noticed though that your link to opengame art only includes their textures. The also have sounds, models, and 2d assets as well. If you search by CC0 license you can use those works without worrying about license. Most of the other licenses mostly just require attribution, but the terms aren't too hard to find. Also for anyone that knows how to compose or read sheet music, musescore.com is a great program for composing. It's what I use for my music.
